Persian Stone Artistry

Stone and Marble Artworks of Sistan and Baluchestan

The main square of Zahedan has become a prestigious venue for presenting luxurious stone artworks. In this project, we sought to reflect a small yet brilliant part of the rich culture, ancient stories, historical identity, and more than two thousand years of civilization of Sistan and Baluchestan through monumental stone panels. Each piece was designed and executed with the highest level of precision, craftsmanship, and artistic dedication.

Stages of Creating Stone and Mosaic Artworks in Sistan and Baluchestan

1- Selecting the Stone Block

Dimensions: 2.2 m × 1.6 m × 1.7 m
Weight: 8.26 tons

2- Cutting and Sizing the Stones

Wire cutting process
Dimensions: 1.05 m × 2.2 m
Thickness: 16 cm
Quantity: 6 slabs

3- Designing Reliefs and Mosaic Artworks

Featured works in this phase include:
• Naqsh-e Rostam relief panel
• Ship and Sea relief panel
• Sistani embroidery mosaic panel
• Sistani cultural animation design

4- Final Execution with CNC and Waterjet Machines

Advanced CNC carving and waterjet cutting technologies were used to achieve high precision, clean detailing, and flawless execution across all stone components.

5- Loading, Shipping and Delivery to Zahedan

After production, the stone artworks were carefully loaded, transported, and delivered to Zahedan with full attention to safety and handling requirements for heavy architectural pieces.

Installation in Zahedan and Site Visits

The installation phase was carried out independently from our execution team. However, site visits and project documentation were completed to record the final presentation of the artworks in the urban environment.
